The Journey to VegasRP

Every story begins somewhere, and mine started in a place called Emergency Hamburg (EHIT). At the time, I was still new to serious roleplay. Emergency Hamburg gave me my first taste of structured gameplay, teamwork, and the discipline that comes with maintaining order in a busy RP environment. But as time went on, I began to feel that familiar sense of stagnation — a quiet boredom that creeps in when you’ve learned all you can in one place. I wanted something new, something more dynamic, and something that would challenge me to grow.

That desire for change led me to HDRP, where my journey took a major turn. HDRP was where I met Simon, one of the most influential people I’ve met in the RP community. Back then, I was a rookie cop — enthusiastic but still learning the ropes. Simon, already experienced and confident, took me under his wing. We would patrol the city together, and he would drive us around, teaching me how to approach situations, handle pressure, and make decisions that balanced realism with fun. Those early patrols shaped my understanding of what true roleplay meant — not just playing a character, but living one.

Eventually, Simon and I decided to form a gang within HDRP, a creative twist that gave our roleplay more depth and variety. For a while, it was an exciting time — we had a crew, a purpose, and a world that felt alive. But as often happens in RP servers, things changed. Simon was banned from HDRP, and while he moved on to a new server called RLRP, I stayed behind, trying to keep the energy alive. It didn’t last long. HDRP began to feel repetitive, and before long, I decided to follow Simon’s path and join him at RLRP.

When I first joined RLRP, I didn’t immediately jump into the RP world. I was there more as an observer — watching, learning, and understanding how things operated. Eventually, I joined a roleplay session where I met Doom, another name that would become very important later on. Doom and I clicked almost instantly. We shared the same mindset — dedicated, ambitious, and passionate about RP. That same day, inspired by what I saw on RLRP, I decided to apply for an Admin position.

After three days of waiting, my application was accepted, and I started my staff journey as a Moderator. I quickly dove into the work — managing player reports, maintaining fairness, and ensuring the RP environment stayed balanced and enjoyable. I treated every report as an opportunity to learn, to improve, and to build trust within the community. Some days, I would handle five or more hours of shifts, grinding through reports, resolving conflicts, and ensuring players had the best experience possible.

But as rewarding as it was, the constant flow of reports began to take its toll. I started to feel the burnout that many dedicated staff members eventually face. I loved the work, but I also felt the pull to create something of my own — a place that embodied the lessons I’d learned across all these servers.

Around this time, I had grown very close with Corey, someone I now consider one of my best mates. Together, we met Atow, another talented and driven individual who shared our vision. The three of us decided to take a leap of faith and build our own community. And from that decision, VegasRP was born.

In our early days, I took on the role of Owner, while Corey and Atow became Co-Owners. We poured countless hours into development, structure, and community building. Every system, every rule, every feature — we built it with the player experience in mind. At first, it was difficult to balance my time between RLRP and VegasRP. RLRP had become like a second home to me, and I never truly left it. I continued to support the players and staff there even as we were laying the foundations of our own project.

However, when RLRP was raided, everything shifted. The raid, while unfortunate, became a turning point. It pushed us to fully commit to our own dream. We began focusing entirely on VegasRP, refining its systems, improving its roleplay standards, and creating a space that could stand out in the RP community. The work paid off — in less than a month, VegasRP surpassed 300 members, a milestone that symbolized not just growth, but community trust.

VegasRP isn’t just another RP server; it’s the result of years of learning, dedication, and teamwork. It carries the lessons I learned from Emergency Hamburg, the leadership I gained from HDRP, the experience and discipline from RLRP, and the creativity and friendship that grew through it all. From rookie cop to owner, it’s been a long and meaningful journey — one built not just by me, but by the people who walked alongside me.Men
